We are excited to announce the newest member of the Alliance San Diego team, Mustafa Nizam.

On December 6, 2017, my colleagues and I risked our freedom on the steps of Capitol Hill while supporting Dreamers during a civil disobedience action -- and we were swiftly arrested (min. 29) by Capitol Police.

For the last 29 years, we’ve celebrated the life and legacy of Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr at the annual All Peoples Celebration. In 2018, we will proudly celebrate the 30th year of this pre-eminent event and we invite you to join us!

For the 30th year, we will stand to promote equality, we will stand for the rights of all people and we will stand for those who have yet to find their voice. This is the most powerful way to honor the legacy of Dr. King and every trailblazing leader that has carved the path to building the Beloved Community with integrity and courage.

In 2017, Alliance San Diego celebrates its tenth anniversary of building inclusion and equality in the community.  This Giving Tuesday, Alliance San Diego invites you to begin a year of giving in support of programs that train leaders, protect families, and ensure that all of San Diego is able to take part in the democratic process in an environment of harmony and justice.
