This week, the San Diego Immigrant Rights Consortium — a project of Alliance San Diego — held the 2019 SDIRC Awards to recognize the individuals and organizations who did outstanding work around immigrants and refugees this year. Here are the 2019 SDIRC Award winners:

• Outstanding Coverage of Immigrant Issues — Max Rivlin-Nadler
• Elected Official of the Year — Assembly Member Shirley Weber
• Community Partner(s) of the Year — Bridge of Love Across the Border and MAAC
• Worker Justice Partner of the Year — APALA San Diego
• Legal Partner of the Year — Jewish Family Services
• Faith Partner of the Year — Christ Ministry Center
