The California State Public Health Officer and Director of the California Department of Public Health is ordering all individuals living in the State of California to stay home or at their place of residence except as needed to maintain continuity of operation of the federal critical infrastructure sectors (3/19/2020). On March 28, San Diego County extended its own "Stay At Home" order so that it remains in effect until further notice. On April 2nd, 2020 the San Diego County Sheriffs Department announced they will begin enforcing the California and San Diego County public health orders. San Diego County has approved a plan to request accelerated reopening of businesses (5/19/2020). Gov. Newsom orders major reopening rollback in attempt to control rampant COVID-19 spread (7/13/2020).
