Alliance San Diego, as a member of Engage San Diego, held a press conference to commemorate Census Day, on April 1st, 2020, and to raise awareness on the critical work being done to make sure everyone is counted in our region, including those in the hard-to-reach areas.

Alliance San Diego is committed to working for a fair and accurate census count, with Christopher Rice-Wilson, Alliance San Diego associate director, serving on the California Complete Count Committee. The California Complete Count Committee works with the Governor and the CA Complete Count Office to ensure an accurate and complete count during the census, so that San Diego is fairly represented and receives the funding it needs.
