Last week, Alliance San Diego’s executive director Andrea Guerrero joined several border experts on a national press call to discuss A New Border Vision, a framework for positive and compassionate action that moves us from the myopic and harmful border enforcement of the last few decades to responsive and responsible border governance for the 21st century.

The call also included Southern Border Communities Coalition (SBCC) director Vicki B. Gaubeca (quoted with Andrea in this article by the San Diego Union-Tribune) and former border patrol agent Jenn Budd. As an ambassador for SBCC, Jenn Budd continues to discuss her work as a migrant rights advocate and volunteer in migrant shelters.
