We are seeking two artists ages 18-24 to create artwork to inspire and motivate young voters in San Diego. Each artist will receive a $1,000 stipend to create one individual artwork design and one collaborative artwork design together.

The designs created as part of the artist residency program, running from September 9 - November 2, 2024, will be translated into various types of outreach (ex. digital, social media, printed swag).

Artists will work with a staff advisory board and be provided space to develop the artwork in-house at the Alliance San Diego office in Barrio Logan once per week as part of the residency. We will create the space and support to help the artists infuse their art with our mission to build collective power to create an inclusive democracy.

Apply by Thursday, September 4, 2024! Artists will be selected and notified by Friday, September 6. The Youth Artist-in-Residence program will begin on September 9, and run through November 2, 2024. All artwork will be showcased at a community artist gathering event in November.
