***All new volunteers must attend an initial orientation with a dedicated staff member. After you enter your information, you will be asked to sign up for one of our upcoming volunteer orientation. If you cannot attend any of the scheduled dates, our Advancement Coordinator will contact you to set up a time that works for you. We look forward to joining forces with you!

Election Outreach and Education
Mobilize community members with our Civic Engagement Team.
We need motivated and personable volunteers to canvass our communities and help turn out the vote for the upcoming November elections.
**5 hour time commitment per shift and are in person. Volunteers may walk up to 2.5 miles per shift. If you are interested in canvassing with us, please click this link to sign up for available shifts.

Community Outreach
Engage with community members and educate them on our mission and work.
Through door to door canvassing efforts, we have met thousands of community members that would like to hear more about the mission of Alliance San Diego! We are putting together a team of rockstar volunteers to contact these potential supporters and share our current work and upcoming events.
**This opportunity is entirely remote and flexible to volunteer’s schedules. Volunteers are able to make their own schedules, and place calls any time from 10am to 8pm, Mondays to Sundays.

Show Up Squad
Provide vital support at city council meetings, rallys, and other actions.
Alliance San Diego is proud to be launching the Show up Squad! This new program will bring volunteers to various actions that could use additional support from the community. From submitting public comments for city council agendas or speaking up at the Truth Act Forum, if you are interested in turning up and turning out, this opportunity is for you!
The time commitment for this volunteer opportunity is highly flexible, and consists of both in person and online actions.
