City Council faces crucial vote as coalition of community groups rally at City Hall
SAN DIEGO, CA -- On Monday, June 5, community, faith and labor leaders will hold a press conference / rally to ask that the San Diego City Council refrain from scheduling a costly special election for special interests.
They will stand united with one message: voters have already decided that local initiatives should be held in the November general election when the most people vote, not in special elections that only serve special interests. That's why they approved Measure L by 66%.
