On April 17, elected officials in San Diego County plan to meet behind closed doors to decide if they will join Trump's lawsuit. They should listen to Sheriff Bill Gore and “stay out” of this cruel and misguided lawsuit that threatens to rip families apart and further erode the trust between our communities and local law enforcement.
