The Immigrant Rights Legal Defense Program in San Diego offers free legal representation for detained immigrants or those presently in Alternative to Detention status. MEDICAL COVERAGE

Did you know that you qualify for full coverage Medi-Cal regardless of your immigration status if you are under 26? Learn more about Health4All Young Adults. (ENGLISH) (SPANISH)

MEDICAL FOR SENIORS (50 YEARS+)

As of May 1, 2022, all eligible Californians 50 years of age or older can get free full-scope MediCal regardless of immigration status. Medi-Cal covers preventative care, annual check-ups, mental health, prescription drugs and medical supplies, and more. People can qualify for full-scope MediCal if they are undocumented, and using MediCal (except for long-term care) will not hurt your immigration status. Apply today to find out if you qualify. Ways to apply:

  • By phone by dialing 2-1-1
  • Contact the County of San Diego Call Center 1-866-262-9881

SELF HELP DESK FLYER

The Immigration Self Help desk assists individuals who are in removal proceedings to guide them through the process. They do so by providing informational sessions, one-on-one consultations, and outreach to pro-bono attorneys in the community.
