We are busy doing our part to help our communities thrive by supporting the Schools and Communities First 2020 ballot measure.
We all want safe neighborhoods, healthy families and good schools for our children, but for nearly four decades, big corporations have not been paying their share, leaving California at the bottom third of U.S. states in quality public education. The Legislative Analyst Office just completed its fiscal analysis of the ballot measure, saying the impact could be up to $12B a year for schools and communities — up from $11 billion. We are getting ready to gather signatures and mobilize our communities so that we can lift up all Californians. Want to help? Sign up as a volunteer here.
