In a sign of strength and growing momentum, the Schools & Communities First initiative hit the 25 percent signature gathering mark this week, collecting nearly 250,000 signatures in about a month. We are proud to have done our part in San Diego as we continue to hit the pavement and gather signatures to place the initiative on the upcoming statewide ballot in November 2020.

The Schools & Communities First initiative will reclaim $12 billion every year for schools and local communities by closing commercial property tax loopholes and ending shady schemes that big corporations and wealthy investors use to avoid paying their fair share of commercial property taxes.
