SAN DIEGO - Alliance San Diego recognized its supporters and volunteers at the 2016 Supporter Appreciation Celebration.

The event took place on December 15 at the Alliance San Diego offices. This annual event honored those who have supported the organization in 2016. It also uplifted the organization’s successes for this year.  

Alliance San Diego’s Development Manager Matthew Yagyagen hosted the program, which featured riveting performances by Civic Engagement Manager and singer, Brisa Johnson, and poet Miesha Rice-Wilson.

Whether a financial contributor, a volunteer, or a member of the canvassing team, all supporters were recognized for their commitment to social justice, and for working with Alliance San Diego to help build a more progressive San Diego.

“Supporters are the reason we can make sure all San Diegans can achieve their full potential,” said Andrea Guerrero, Executive Director of Alliance San Diego.

Board Director David Miles encouraged attendees to continue supporting Alliance San Diego and invited them the share the organization’s work with their networks.
