The Southern Border Communities Coalition (SBCC), which Alliance San Diego convenes, released A New Border Vision for 21st century border governance!
Created with consultation from human rights experts and community advocates, A New Border Vision provides the framework for a human-rights first approach to border governance by expanding public safety, protecting human rights, and welcoming residents and newcomers. It’s a new way to think about border governance that is responsive and responsible. A New Border Vision is being released now to inform national policy and ground national politics as the presidential election cycle gets underway. Through this vision, border communities are sharing their perspective and calling for change. Read A New Border Vision here!
