The San Diego Immigrant Rights Consortium (SDIRC), a project of Alliance San Diego, will be honored with an Outstanding Leadership in Advocacy Award from the California Immigrant Policy Center (CIPC) at their statewide conference on Wednesday, December 5th.

The award is given to organizations that have shown an extraordinary level of impact in the immigrant community. SDIRC has had a busy year, from working with Central American families seeking asylum to the creation of the Borderlands Get Free Bond Fund to help bond out people from immigration detention.
