Immigrant rights activists are taking a creative approach to educating communities on their rights if confronted by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) officials.

The United Farm Workers and UFW Foundation have released a jingle ringtone in Spanish. The 19-second tune translates to:

"If immigration comes to arrest you, keep calm. You have the right not to sign anything and not to say anything. You have the right to remain silent; also the right to ask for an attorney."

Itzel Guillen, Immigrant Integration Coordinator at Alliance San Diego, welcomes any effort to educate immigrant communities.

"There are still people that don't know these rights. There are community members that are afraid to go the information forums and get that information," said Guillen. "And those are the people most vulnerable."
